ch%20was%20not%20a%20desirable%20trait%E2%80%94how%20can%20a%20woman%20keep%20a%20house%20she%20can%E2%80%99t%20see%3F%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cblockquote%3E%0A%3Cp%3ESamson%20had%20long%20hair%20and%20was%20a%20womanizer.%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3C%2Fblockquote%3E%0A%3Cp%3EThe%20second%20part%20is%20true%20enough%20but%20the%20first%20part%20makes%20no%20sense.%C2%A0%20Of%20course%20Samson%20had%20long%20hair.%C2%A0%20He%20was%20a%20%E2%80%9CNazarite%20to%20God%20from%20the%20womb%E2%80%9D%20%28%3Ca%20href%3D%22http%3A%2F%2Fwww.biblegateway.com%2Fpassage%2F%3Fsearch%3DJudges%252013%3A5%26amp%3Bversion%3DESV%22%3EJud.%2013%3A5%3C%2Fa%3E%29.%C2%A0%20Therefore%20Samson%E2%80%99s%20hair%20was%20to%20be%20kept%20long%2C%20as%20part%20of%20the%20vow%20to%20God.%C2%A0%20No%20razor%20was%20to%20be%20used%20on%20his%20head%20%28ibid%29.%C2%A0%20It%E2%80%99s%20illogical%20to%20state%20that%20something%20which%20God%20specifically%20commanded%20Samson%20to%20do%20might%20be%20something%20that%20would%20keep%20God%20from%20using%20Samson.%C2%A0%20In%20fact%2C%20it%20is%20when%20Samson%E2%80%99s%20hair%20is%20cut%20that%20he%20loses%20his%20supernatural%20strength%2C%20and%20Scripture%20makes%20a%20point%20of%20specifying%20that%20Samson%E2%80%99s%20hair%20began%20to%20grow%20again%20%28%3Ca%20href%3D%22http%3A%2F%2Fwww.biblegateway.com%2Fpassage%2F%3Fsearch%3DJudges%252016%3A22%26amp%3Bversion%3DESV%22%3EJud.%2016%3A22%3C%2Fa%3E%29.%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cblockquote%3E%0A%3Cp%3EElijah%20was%20suicidal.%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3C%2Fblockquote%3E%0A%3Cp%3ENo.%C2%A0%20Absolutely%20not.%C2%A0%20Suicidal%20people%20try%20to%20take%20their%20own%20lives.%C2%A0%20Elijah%20was%20fed%20up%20with%20unfaithful%20Israel%2C%20and%20he%20asked%20that%20the%20Lord%20take%20him%20because%20he%20had%20not%20been%20any%20more%20able%20to%20change%20their%20hearts%20than%20his%20fathers%20had%E2%80%94despite%20the%20miracles%20that%20God%20performed%20through%20him%20%28%3Ca%20href%3D%22http%3A%2F%2Fwww.biblegateway.com%2Fpassage%2F%3Fsearch%3D1%2520Kings%252019%3A4%26amp%3Bversion%3DESV%22%3E1%20Kings%2019%3A4%3C%2Fa%3E%29.%C2%A0%20This%20was%20an%20utter%20despair%20at%20the%20lack%20of%20repentance%20of%20the%20people%20of%20Israel.%C2%A0%20Elijah%20was%20so%20fed%20up%20with%20their%20hearts%20of%20stone%20that%20he%20would%20rather%20have%20died%20then%20continue%20to%20be%20belittled%20for%20his%20fervor%20and%20zeal%20for%20the%20Lord.%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cblockquote%3E%0A%3Cp%3E%C2%A0Isaiah%20preached%20naked.%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3C%2Fblockquote%3E%0A%3Cp%3ELike%20the%20example%20of%20Samson%2C%20we%20see%20here%20a%20blatant%20lack%20of%20understanding%20of%20Scripture.%C2%A0%20Isaiah%20did%20not%20preach%20naked%20out%20of%20his%20own%20will%2C%20but%20at%20the%20command%20of%20Almighty%20God.%C2%A0%20%E2%80%9CAt%20that%20time%20the%20LORD%20spoke%20by%20Isaiah%20the%20son%20of%20Amoz%2C%20saying%2C%20%E2%80%9CGo%2C%20and%20loose%20the%20sackcloth%20from%20your%20waist%20and%20take%20off%20your%20sandals%20from%20your%20feet%2C%E2%80%9D%20and%20he%20did%20so%2C%20walking%20naked%20and%20barefoot%E2%80%9D%20%28%3Ca%20href%3D%22http%3A%2F%2Fwww.biblegateway.com%2Fpassage%2F%3Fsearch%3DIsaiah%2B20%253A2%26amp%3Bversion%3DESV%22%3EIsa.%2020%3A2%3C%2Fa%3E%29.%C2%A0%20In%20the%20following%20verses%2C%20God%20describes%20how%20this%20nakedness%20is%20a%20portent%20of%20the%20judgement%20that%20would%C2%A0come%20to%20pass%C2%A0on%20Egypt%20and%20Cush.%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cblockquote%3E%0A%3Cp%3EJob%20went%20bankrupt.%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3C%2Fblockquote%3E%0A%3Cp%3EWhoever%20put%20this%20poster%20together%20must%20have%20gone%20to%20the%20Rob%20Bell%20school%20of%20exegesis%20and%20Biblical%20studies.%20%C2%A0In%20the%20book%20of%20Job%2C%20God%20allows%20Satan%20to%20attack%20Job%2C%20thereby%20demonstrating%20the%20righteousness%20of%20Job%E2%80%99s%20heart%20%28%3Ca%20href%3D%22http%3A%2F%2Fwww.biblegateway.com%2Fpassage%2F%3Fsearch%3DJob%2B1%26amp%3Bversion%3DESV%22%3EJob%201%3C%2Fa%3E%29.%20%C2%A0Job%20only%20went%20bankrupt%20because%20God%20allowed%20it.%20%C2%A0God%20knew%20that%20Job%E2%80%99s%20zeal%20for%20God%20was%20not%20rooted%20in%20his%20belongings%2C%20or%20even%20in%20his%20family.%20%C2%A0That%20is%20why%20God%20allowed%20Job%20to%20fall%20from%20his%20place%20of%20high%20estate.%20%C2%A0And%20at%20the%20end%20of%20Job%3F%20%C2%A0%E2%80%9DAnd%20the%20LORD%20restored%20the%20fortunes%20of%20Job%2C%20when%20he%20had%20prayed%20for%20his%20friends.%20And%20the%20LORD%20gave%20Job%20twice%20as%20much%20as%20he%20had%20before%E2%80%9D%20%28%3Ca%20href%3D%22http%3A%2F%2Fwww.biblegateway.com%2Fpassage%2F%3Fsearch%3DJob%2B42%3A10%26amp%3Bversion%3DESV%22%3EJob%2042%3A10%3C%2Fa%3E%29.%20%C2%A0Job%20was%20blessed%20more%20in%20the%20end%20of%20his%20life%20than%20at%20the%20beginning%2C%20because%20he%20remained%20faithful%20to%20God%20%28%3Ca%20href%3D%22http%3A%2F%2Fwww.biblegateway.com%2Fpassage%2F%3Fsearch%3DJob%2B42%3A12%26amp%3Bversion%3DESV%22%3EJob%2042%3A12%3C%2Fa%3E%29.%3C%2Fp%3E% uo%3Bsuach%26rdquo%3B%20is%20of%20uncertain%20origin%2C%20and%20probably%20means%20%26ldquo%3Bto%20muse%20pensively%2C%26rdquo%3B%20but%20there%20is%20nothing%20that%20implies%20any%20sort%20of%20immoral%20or%20improper%20action%20on%20Isaac%26rsquo%3Bs%20part%20%287742%29.%26nbsp%3B%20Also%2C%20this%20was%20not%20something%20that%20Isaac%20is%20reported%20as%20consistently%20taking%20part%20in.%26nbsp%3B%20In%20Genesis%2023%2C%20Isaac%26rsquo%3Bs%20mother%20Sarah%20dies%20and%20is%20buried.%26nbsp%3B%20In%20context%2C%20Genesis%2024%20is%20talking%20about%20the%20marriage%20of%20Isaac%2C%20and%20how%20his%20wife%20Rebekah%20then%20comforted%20him%20after%20his%20mother%26rsquo%3Bs%20death.%26nbsp%3B%20Therefore%2C%20in%20context%2C%20the%20verse%20is%20speaking%20of%20a%20specific%20instance%20in%20which%20Isaac%20went%20out%20and%20was%20musing%2C%20most%20likely%20in%20reflection%20about%20his%20mother%20and%20her%20life.%0A%0ALeah%20was%20ugly.%0A%0ANo%2C%20Leah%20had%20weak%2C%20tender%2C%20soft%2C%20or%20delicate%20eyes%2C%20depending%20on%20which%20translation%20of%20the%20word%20you%20favor%20%28Gen.%2029%3A17%2C%20Strongs%207390%29.%26nbsp%3B%20Her%20vision%20was%20bad%2C%20which%20was%20not%20a%20desirable%20trait%26mdash%3Bhow%20can%20a%20woman%20keep%20a%20house%20she%20can%26rsquo%3Bt%20see%3F%0A%0ASamson%20had%20long%20hair%20and%20was%20a%20womanizer.%0A%0AThe%20second%20part%20is%20true%20enough%20but%20the%20first%20part%20makes%20no%20sense.%26nbsp%3B%20Of%20course%20Samson%20had%20long%20hair.%26nbsp%3B%20He%20was%20a%20%26ldquo%3BNazarite%20to%20God%20from%20the%20womb%26rdquo%3B%20%28Jud.%2013%3A5%29.%26nbsp%3B%20Therefore%20Samson%26rsquo%3Bs%20hair%20was%20to%20be%20kept%20long%2C%20as%20part%20of%20the%20vow%20to%20God.%26nbsp%3B%20No%20razor%20was%20to%20be%20used%20on%20his%20head%20%28ibid%29.%26nbsp%3B%20It%26rsquo%3Bs%20illogical%20to%20state%20that%20something%20which%20God%20specifically%20commanded%20Samson%20to%20do%20might%20be%20something%20that%20would%20keep%20God%20from%20using%20Samson.%26nbsp%3B%20In%20fact%2C%20it%20is%20when%20Samson%26rsquo%3Bs%20hair%20is%20cut%20that%20he%20loses%20his%20supernatural%20strength%2C%20and%20Scripture%20makes%20a%20point%20of%20specifying%20that%20Samson%26rsquo%3Bs%20hair%20began%20to%20grow%20again%20%28Jud.%2016%3A22%29.%0A%0AElijah%20was%20suicidal.%0A%0ANo.%26nbsp%3B%20Absolutely%20not.%26nbsp%3B%20Suicidal%20people%20try%20to%20take%20their%20own%20lives.%26nbsp%3B%20Elijah%20was%20fed%20up%20with%20unfaithful%20Israel%2C%20and%20he%20asked%20that%20the%20Lord%20take%20him%20because%20he%20had%20not%20been%20any%20more%20able%20to%20change%20their%20hearts%20than%20his%20fathers%20had%26mdash%3Bdespite%20the%20miracles%20that%20God%20performed%20through%20him%20%281%20Kings%2019%3A4%29.%26nbsp%3B%20This%20was%20an%20utter%20despair%20at%20the%20lack%20of%20repentance%20of%20the%20people%20of%20Israel.%26nbsp%3B%20Elijah%20was%20so%20fed%20up%20with%20their%20hearts%20of%20stone%20that%20he%20would%20rather%20have%20died%20then%20continue%20to%20be%20belittled%20for%20his%20fervor%20and%20zeal%20for%20the%20Lord.%0A%0A%26nbsp%3BIsaiah%20preached%20naked.%0A%0ALike%20the%20example%20of%20Samson%2C%20we%20see%20here%20a%20blatant%20lack%20of%20understanding%20of%20Scripture.%26nbsp%3B%20Isaiah%20did%20not%20preach%20naked%20out%20of%20his%20own%20will%2C%20but%20at%20the%20command%20of%20Almighty%20God.%26nbsp%3B%20%26ldquo%3BAt%20that%20time%20the%20LORD%20spoke%20by%20Isaiah%20the%20son%20of%20Amoz%2C%20saying%2C%20%26ldquo%3BGo%2C%20and%20loose%20the%20sackcloth%20from%20your%20waist%20and%20take%20off%20your%20sandals%20from%20your%20feet%2C%26rdquo%3B%20and%20he%20did%20so%2C%20walking%20naked%20and%20barefoot%26rdquo%3B%20%28Isa.%2020%3A2%29.%26nbsp%3B%20In%20the%20following%20verses%2C%20God%20describes%20how%20this%20nakedness%20is%20a%20portent%20of%20the%20judgement%20that%20would%26nbsp%3Bcome%20to%20pass%26nbsp%3Bon%20Egypt%20and%20Cush.%0A%0AJob%20went%20bankrupt.%0A%0AWhoever%20put%20this%20poster%20together%20must%20have%20gone%20to%20the%20Rob%20Bell%20school%20of%20exegesis%20and%20Biblical%20studies.%20%26nbsp%3BIn%20the%20book%20of%20Job%2C%20God%20allows%20Satan%20to%20attack%20Job%2C%20thereby%20demonstrating%20the%20righteousness%20of%20Job%26rsquo%3Bs%20heart%20%28Job%201%29.%20%26nbsp%3BJob%20only%20went%20bankrupt%20because%20God%20allowed%20it.%20%26nbsp%3BGod%20knew%20that%20Job%26rsquo%3Bs%20zeal%20for%20God%20was%20not%20rooted%20in%20his%20belongings%2C%20or%20even%20in%20his%20family.%20%26nbsp%3BThat%20is%20why%20God%20allowed%20Job%20to%20fall%20from%20his%20place%20of%20high%20estate.%20%26nbsp%3BAnd%20at%20the%20end%20of%20Job%3F%20%26nbsp%3B%26rdquo%3BAnd%20the%20LORD%20restored%20the%20fortunes%20of%20Job%2C%20when%20he%20had%20prayed%20for%20his%20friends.%20And%20the%20LORD%20gave%20Job%20twice%20as%20much%20as%20he%20had%20before%26rdquo%3B%20%28Job%2042%3A10%29.%20%26nbsp%3BJob%20was%20ble
